
The Department of English at MATS University organized “Farewell 2024: Sayonara,” a heartfelt celebration dedicated to the final year students of BA English Hons. and MA English . The Farewell took place on May 18, 2024 at Triton Hotel.
The Farewell was filled with nostalgic moments, inspiring speeches, and delightful performances, reflecting the vibrant spirit and creativity of our English Department. Juniors organized various games for their seniors and gave them farewell gifts. Mr. and Ms. Farewell were given to Ashish Dhruv and Rumaisa Khan.

The welcome address was given by the Head of the Department Dr. Ranjana Das Sarkhel, where she expressed her sentiments about the event and the students of the department.
The students have shown passion and dedication throughout their academic journey and Farewell 2024: Sayonara” was the department’s way of acknowledging their hard work and wishing them success in their future endeavours.
Registrar of MATS Shri Gokulananda Panda wished students well for their future and said that they could not wait to see the impact they would make in their respective field.

Ms. Darshika Chaudhary, Ms. Rukhsar Parveen and Dr. Sajal Thakur Faculties of the English Department wished for their Future and also assured them that the Department will always be there to help them.

The event was graced by the presence of MATS University’s Chancellor Shri Gajraj Pagariya ji, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. KP Yadav, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Deepika Dhand, Director General Shri Priyesh Pagariya ji and Registrar Shri Gokulananda Panda. All of them wished the students best in their life and career.
